Waiting on Wednesday: Always and Forever, Lara Jean

"Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating."

My choice for this week is Always and Forever, Lara Jean (To All The Boys I've Loved Before #3) by Estelle Laure
Expected Publication Date: May 2nd, 2017

Goodreads Summary

Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad’s finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot’s coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding. But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jean’s the one who’ll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family—and possibly the boy she loves—behind. When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

Why I'm so excited about this book?

Okay, first off: WHYYYY? Why, Jenny Han, did you have to decide to surprise us all with a third book in the duology of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before? The ending of PS: I Still Love You was near perfection. Why would you want to try and add an ending that could mess everything up? I’m really not sure how I feel about this. Bring it on Jenny Han. I know you're an excellent writer, BUT DON'T MESS WITH LARA JEAN AND PETER.

And now for everybody else: Last summer I fell in love with this DUOLOGY by Jenny Han and read those two books in barely three days time. I cried, I laughed, I loved! And now I found out that there’s a third installment coming out soon, turning the series into a trilogy. I’m not quite sure if I’m happy about this or not, because honestly: I’m scared. Scared that the superb ending with Lara Jean and Peter is going to be disrupted and all the feelings I have towards that story destroyed.

Alas, I’m still going to get my hands on the first copy available. And can we all take a moment please to appreciate the beautiful cover for this book? It fits perfectly into the series and it will look STUNNING in my shelves ;)
